Cheese Making

We’re able to arrange a visit to a local mountain farm to see the world famous Etivaz cheese in production. It’s a chance to see a traditional Swiss farm in operation and to try, and buy, some cheese. The visit takes place in the morning and we also offer a hike to leave the farm and explore the mountains and pastures the cows are grazing on with lunch taken either at a mountain refuge on the side of a small mountain lake or a picnic with cheese from the farm.

We’re also able to offer this trip combined with guided hiking with SwissMountainLeader. Start at the farm, see the cheese being made and then explore the mountain pastures where the cows were grazing!

Fabrication de fromage

Nous sommes en mesure d’organiser une visite à une ferme de montagne locale pour voir le fromage Etivaz de renommée mondiale en production. C’est l’occasion de voir une ferme suisse traditionnelle en exploitation et d’essayer, et d’acheter, du fromage. La visite a lieu le matin et nous offrons également une randonnée pour quitter la ferme et explorer les montagnes et les pâturages les vaches sont broutant avec le déjeuner pris soit à un refuge de montagne sur le flanc d’un petit lac de montagne ou un pique-nique avec du fromage de la ferme.
