Situated in Leysin, a village in the Swiss Alps, our traditionally styled bed & breakfast offers a variety of facilities in a picturesque setting. The hotel offers traditional rooms, decorated with mainly wooden furnishings, with a cosy atmosphere.

L'Epicea is located in a quiet and peaceful quarter of Leysin where guests can enjoy mountain scenery and countryside views. It's just 1 km from the cable car departure point and 35 km from Montreux and 40km from Gstaad. Getting here from Geneva airport is quick and easy, we're 1.5 hrs by car or just under 2 hours by the train which takes you from the airport to the valley below and you make the short journey on a scenic mountain railway into the village of Leysin.

Alongside our B&B we also offer guided walking and snowshoeing holidays with 3 or 5 days guided walking most weeks of the year exploring Leysin and the Swiss Alps. These trips are led by a qualified UIMLA International Mountain Leader.

In winter we're an ideal base for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and skiing. We've a local ski station and are part of the greater Alpes Vaudoise region including glacier skiing high above Les Diablerets and the large ski area of Villars is only a few minutes away. We're keen skiers and we're out in the winter on skis, nordic skis, ski touring and snowshoeing so if you've got any questions then get in touch!
